Homey Products to Make Life More Comfortable
What do you think of when you think about being content and comfortable? I think of curling up with a good book under a comfy blanket, or relaxing in a hot bath with luxurious soaks and soaps. This is exactly what you will find here at Contented Comfort. I carry handmade goat milk soaps, soaks, homey French knit and crocheted items, and books you won't find anywhere else but directly from my publisher.
Life isn't always comfortable for those with sensitive or allergy prone skin. My family and I know this first hand. Together, our skin is sensitive to a point bordering on the absurd. Over the years, we tried brand after brand of commercially produced soaps and skin care products, only to have one or more of us react to them all. This is why I began making soaps, and after learning how many others suffer with the same issues, I decided to offer others the same relief from constant skin irritation my family has found.
You will not find any detergents, dyes, or artificial colors in my bath and body products. I use only botanical or mineral powders chosen not only for their vibrant colors but for the purported benefits they hold for the skin. The fragrance oils I use in my scented items are phthalate free, and the preservative used to insure the botanicals stay at their best is paraben free, making them as gentle and as close to hypoallergenic as possible.
